Entering our 39th anniversary in 2026, the Ocean City Tuna Tournament has become the world’s largest tuna tournament with a record payout that has eclipsed $1,000,000 in each of the last two years. Boats of all sizes from ports throughout the East Coast travel to Ocean City, Maryland, to fish this event, featuring over 100 participating boats in three of the last four tournaments.

The three-day event is full of anticipation, excitement, and fun for all. While spectators wait for the scales to open, they can enjoy cold cocktails and delicious food at our on-site restaurant, Micky Fins Bar & Grill. Local vendors selling everything from boats and tackle to jewelry are on display daily. After the scales have closed, the tournament provides dinner and entertainment for participants and sponsors.

The Ocean City Fishing Center, one of Ocean City’s prominent marinas, plays host to the tournament. Along with its sister marina, Sunset Marina, both offer top-notch accommodations such as swimming pools, tackle and gift shops, free parking, and award-winning restaurants. If competitive fishing, a good time, and lots of cash are your thing, then the Ocean City Tuna Tournament has it all.
